Alex and Kaiet’s Story

Alex and Kaiet are 7 year-old twins who enrolled in Kumon Reading in June 2013, then added Math in April 2014. They are currently studying at a level more than 2 years advanced beyond their school grade in Reading, and 2 years beyond their school grade in Math.

Let’s hear from their mother, Emilia:

“My father sent me a very interesting article about the wonders of Kumon and when I found the centre (within walking distance of our home), I decided to bring both boys. One of them could not sit still and had difficulties staying in one job for more than 5 minutes and I knew Kumon could help with that.

“I have seen huge improvements both at school and at home. They both have excellent working habits and are really ahead of their class in both reading and math.”

Other activities the boys enjoy: “Swimming, skating, cycling, playing video games, doing experiments of all sorts, etc.”

Advice for someone considering Kumon: “Kumon will not only improve their reading and math but also will teach them how to develop good working habits. I also believe Kumon makes children feel confident in their abilities and lets them ‘own’ their own process.”

“After having my children enrolled in Kumon for two years, I have come to the conclusion that all kids should do Kumon from the earliest age possible. The benefits are so great that no parent should have any doubts about enrolling his/her children in Kumon when they are still young.”
